Spaces, Rates, and Policies

We are delighted to present your group with an array of beautiful, functional spaces for your next retreat, conference, or special celebration.  Please note that we require a nonrefundable fee equal to 25 percent of your group’s total space rental and catering cost to reserve your group’s date.  Several spaces require refundable security deposits.  All outside caterers will be charged a kitchen use fee of $50.  We reserve the right to schedule multiple events on the day of your event, in order to best use our facilities.

We are an alcohol-free facility, with an exception of champagne toast for wedding receptions only.  All our buildings are smoke-free.

    

Sanctuary

Our former church sanctuary seats 275 theater-style or 200 at round tables and is great for weddings, fundraising galas, corporate events, or conferences.  With high cathedral ceilings, sweeping arched glass windows, a thrust stage, elegant chandelier and/or stage lighting, this space is ideal for presentations, shows, or celebrations.  The sanctuary is outfitted with a 42-channel sound board with speakers and sound reinforcement, video projector, 20’ rear-projection screen, internet, CD/DVD/VCR, Yamaha Motif SE8 keyboard, and Yahama drum set.


RATES: $150/hour or $750/eight hour block.  For overnight events, $500/up to three days, $1000 four or five days.

Guesthouse

Our brand-new certified “green” Guesthouse is made for your group's overnight accommodations.  It sleeps up to 280 on bunk beds, dorm-style, with central bathrooms, and 44 in furnished, carpeted, guest suites with telephones and private bathrooms.  The first floor features a kitchenette and our Recreation Room, a spacious convertible indoor/outdoor gathering space which is a perfect relaxing space for student groups or other retreat participants.  Overnight guests also have access to our Dining Hall and Courtyard, Breakout Rooms, Gallery, and Performing Arts/Conference Room, if available.


RATES: For our dorms, $15/person/night.  For our guest suites, $50/night (single occupancy) to $80/night (quad occupancy).
 

Dining Hall and Garden Courtyard

For parties, receptions, or presentations, our Dining Hall and Garden Courtyard is a great asset.  Indoors, we can seat 150 people at rectangular tables, 102 at round tables, or 200 theater-style.  The space is outfitted with a sound system, video projector, screen, internet, and CD/DVD/VCR.  Weather permitting, groups may enjoy our brick/stone patio adjoining our terraced organic vegetable garden, which seats an additional 100 people at picnic tables.


RATES: $200/four hour block, plus $50 each additional hour.

Gallery

Our most intimate space seats 14 at a conference table, with lovely wicker furniture for extra seating.  Its walls display rotating exhibits of artwork by emerging local artists.  The Gallery is steps away from our Charles Street Cafe.


RATES: $100/four hour block, plus $25 each additional hour.

Recreation Room

This spacious convertible indoor/outdoor gathering space features removable exterior walls that open onto a grassy courtyard.  It is bedecked with Billiards, ping-pong, Foosball, and air hockey tables, plus a 60” big-screen TV with cable, DVD/VCR, and a portable sound system.


RATES: $200/four hour block, plus $50 each additional hour.

Performing Arts/Conference Room

With its wooden floors and one mirrored wall, our Performing Arts/Conference Room is great for half-day or evening meetings, rehearsals, or workshops.  It seats up to 70 theater-style, and is outfitted with a sound system, video projector, screen, internet, and CD/DVD/VCR.


RATES: $100/four hour block, plus $25 each additional hour.

Breakout Rooms

For groups needing additional space for workshops, we have a dozen Breakout Rooms, classrooms that seat between eight and 20 people each, in a variety of arrangements.

RATES: $25/hour per room, or free with rental of another space.
