We are pleased to be able to share our innovative program space for your group’s next retreat, meeting, or corporate event. Hosting your event here is an investment in our long-term community development work. Our neighborhood location offers your group easy proximity to the city’s cultural and entertainment riches, as well as a versatile alternative to expensive downtown event space.
Our fabulous Sanctuary seats up to 275 people under sweeping arched-glass windows, and features a full sound and video system. Overnight guests relax in our newly-constructed Guesthouse, an environmentally "green" facility that sleeps 280 in dormitory-style bunkrooms and 44 more in furnished suites. We serve catered meals in our Dining Hall and Garden Courtyard, and feature selections that please large groups of kids or refined gatherings of professionals. We host more intimate gatherings in our Gallery, graced with local artwork and comfortable chairs. Young people love our Recreation Room, a spacious indoor/outdoor gathering space outfitted with a 60" big screen TV, ping-pong, billiards, and air hockey tables.
While your group is here, you may wish to check out the Charles Street Café, our neighborhood coffee shop which serves gourmet coffees, specialty espresso drinks, a delectable assortment of fresh baked goods, hand-built sandwiches, homemade soups, and cold drinks, all in a welcoming, cozy space. The Café is open 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with extended hours in the summer months. Groups may request beverage service at other times for $25/hour, plus the cost of beverages.
Our staff is ready to serve great meals and snacks for your event. We serve buffet-style but can provide anything from hearty, informal, big-group meals, to fancy, formal fare for smaller groups. Please request a menu from Sarah Lozecki, our Office Manager, or ask her about a custom menu.
Every group will be hosted by an Event Host from The Pittsburgh Project. We also provide an on-site Caretaker, for janitorial help. Upon request, we can provide a Sound/Video Technician for no additional charge.
We own and maintain two free parking lots for groups to use. Additionally, there is on-street parking surrounding Our Campus.
